Encouraging Girls to Study Geosciences and Engineering

“Empowering girls to become the geoscientists of tomorrow”
The Mission:
– Raising the interest of 13-18 years old girls to study geosciences and geo-engineering;
– Improving the gender balance in these disciplines by the participation of women in raw materials related industries;
– Implementing awareness-raising activities in 22 European countries, including family and school science events, mine visits, mentoring programmes, conferences, summer courses and awarding opportunities.
